Bunkie103 Posted December 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2004 NO, NO, NO, I heard it on TV....it's over! And we ALL know the TV weather is NEVER wrong!
pungo3 Posted December 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2004 This just CAN'T be! I agree with Bunkie, the TV said hurricane season is over. Therefore, there can be no more.;) Speaking as a Floridian, we've had enough!
Cotton Posted December 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Seems 'Mother Nature' is the only one who doesn't know hurricane season officially ended yesterday.
Earthworm Jim Posted December 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Only hurricane season ended. This is a tropical storm.;) Heading in a weird direction too. Toward the southeast?
GoinCruisin Posted December 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Looks like Maine/Rhode Island, but I doubt it makes it that far... The official report is that it is continuing to weaken and probably won't be an issue...
Earthworm Jim Posted December 1, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Looks like Maine/Rhode Island,... Look at it again. The orange dot is the current location. The line with the black dots is it's projected future path, heading generally southeast Not that it really matters. This one is so far out in the middle of the Atlanitc it will never hit anything regardless of what direction it moves.
sgriff17 Posted December 1, 2004 #8 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I dont know about all this TS mess...but it's windy as H*ll here in Richmond. We're getting gusts up to 45mph...I'm so tired of this. Im ready to be on Orient Beach sipping a Mai Tai or some other Island drink and enjoying the "scenery." As I said before, Ocean of course. (:p Travelling with MIL and fiance, mind you)

dlbaqua Posted December 1, 2004 #10 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I was almost afraid to click that link! Glad it's not heading toward Cozumel as we leave in 8 days
GoinCruisin Posted December 1, 2004 #11 Share Posted December 1, 2004 We are having very gusty winds today, but not from the TS :D I see the path now, that was confusing!!.... and also notice that it won't be a TS very long... it is continuing to weaken and should be listed as a TD soon... IBEEMOM Posted December 1, 2004 #12 Share Posted December 1, 2004 We really don't need this. Let's all go outside, face east and blow Otto away. I want nice weather for the cruise.

sgriff17 Posted December 1, 2004 #16 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Hey Goin, maybe we are getting the same little wind storm? I hope that TS stays AWAY from the Caribbean:mad:
GoinCruisin Posted December 2, 2004 #17 Share Posted December 2, 2004 Sgriff, I wouldn't worry at all... forecast has it being downgraded to a TD by tomorrow if not sooner... The track has it heading Southeast of where it is, no worries :D
