Internet access on the Connie

Is there anything close to WIFI on the Connie. I understand that I will have to pay for it but can I bring my laptop and connect from various locations?

I looked at the Celebrity information and it stated that I would have to rent a "phone card" in order to access the internet except in the internet cafe. Please tell me that it isn't so.

There are several hot spots on the Constellation, but the entire ship is not covered. Supposedly, there is access on Deck 10 near the Pizza station ( I found it spotty), and midships on Deck 4 and 5.

 

I took my laptop to the computer center and just used it there, worked fine but would have liked to have had it in my stateroom. No such luck on Deck 9 forward.

We would sit out in the elevator lobby on deck 8 and it worked fine. If we went to our room 3 doors away and left the door open, we would get a weak signal.
