We are travelling Alaska / Mercury in July and are aware that there is a two bottle / room limit when embarking - are you allowed to take another two bottles onboard when you are in the ports?

Is there any increase in number if you are in a suite?

Not according to the website. One is allowed two bottles per cabin only from the port of embarkation. However, other posters have reported success (and failure) in bringing bottles on board from ports.

do not try to bring on bottles while in different ports. it will be confiscated.

 

when embarking on the ship, my husband carries on 2 bottles, walks way ahead of me, then i walk on with 2 bottles. NO PROBLEM.
