lansingisland Posted December 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I'm planning our shore excursions for our June trip and am intrigued by the recommendations for the Glacier Point Wilderness safari in Skagway. I went to the Skagway web site and could not find any link. How can I contact these folks for more info? Thx

emsachs Posted December 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2004 how strenuous is this tour?? It is rated as moderate. I read that there is a 1/2 mile wals and a canoe trip. I am looking at this your and am wondering of my 81 year old father should do it. Would he have to paddle??? I am leaning heavily against doing it (just to be safe). This sounds like a great tour but I'm afraid it might be too much for him. Is there a better way for him to get closest to a glacier??? I am thinking of the Valley of Glaciers Helicopter, or the Glacier Bay flightseeing instead. Your comeents and suggestions are appreciated.
