What are the coupon books that I hear mentioned?

I just read a review where someone said they bought coupon booklets for their cruise. I've never sailed on Carnival before & we are leaving in May. Just wondering what these are, how I buy them, are they worth it and how much do they cost.

My travel agent said she was trying to get us some. I asked her what they were and she said it was for discounts for things on the ship.

I think you're referring to the coupons for drinks, photos. Go to Bon Voyage on Carnival's site and you'll see them. It's under "My cruise". They save some. Many threads especially on the drink coupons.

Not worth the paper they were printed on, those have lots of restrictions, go on ebay and see for yourself.

Just looked at what's in the book ...not a thing I will be using :(

Definitely purchase these. We used them and figure they saved us nearly $50.

We have two, one sent by our TA and one from Carnival. No use to us at all. They all require you purchase something (expensive) and you get a discount on second purchase.
