pale lady Posted April 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2009 A friend has booked us on the Fascination in June 09. She booked cabin U2. Has anyone ever stayed up this close to the front? I have been on one cruise before and was more towards the back (sorry, aft). I did get kind of queazy at night (might have been the drinks though!). I am bringing meds to help. I just wanted to know more about this cabin.
Mego0427 Posted April 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2009 I don't know but I got really excited when I saw the thread title. I thought it was going to be about the band sailing on the Fascination haha :p

KroozFoolz Posted April 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2009 We were in U16 on Fascination last November. Here are pictures of U16: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/569135278fwGhKm We really liked this cabin and being on Upper Deck was very convenient. SneakyBooze Posted May 12, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I think that the anchor is located in about that area on some ships. Not sure about this ship though. If the captain drops the anchor early in the morning you might hear it if you are a light sleeper. I stayed in a similar cabin on an NCL cruise and there was an employee service entrance right next to us. The employees (much like my current neighbors in my town-home) had no problems allowing the door to slam shut each and every time. You never know where those service entrances are going to be. Hopefully none of what I have said will strike too much fear. I would highly recommend packing some ear plugs, no matter where you cabin is - just in case. Better to have them and not need them, as they say..
