Question about LOS

I am sailing on the LOS and want to know if when we dock in

San Juan it's walkable to Old San Juan or do I need a taxi?

It is an enjoyable walk along the water and then up two blocks we found it was very walkable. Also consider the free (not sure it is still free) shuttle bus... It makes a continuous circle hop off hop on

Just off Liberty on Saturday. They dock right in the downtown of Old San Juan in front of the Sheraton hotel. It is a nice walk (uphill) to El MOrro or the San Cristobol fort. You can also easily walk to the shopping (Walgreens, Coach outlet, Polo outlet etc).

Yeah, definitely walk! Also, when you sail in, make sure you are on the port/left side of the ship. You will have an amazing view of El Morro and the city. Have a great time!

Fred, we did the Segway tour and it was awesome. It was a really hot day and I was glad we were not walking. We passed a lot of groaning people that commented they wish they had of done them.

the walk is great. all of the old buildings are beautiful. we took some really great photos along the way.

I believe they still have the free trolley that will take you up to El Morro castle and back down if you don't want to walk. We always found it easier to walk down to the ship. You just walk to the visitor's center, to the left of the pier area. We will be stopping there next Monday on LOS. Been to PR many, many times. Old San Juan is beautiful with the cobblestone streets and lots of good shopping. Happy Cruising!
