Vision Question

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

My DH and I are booked on the Vision of the Seas 12/5-12/12/04. This is our third cruise (2nd with RCCL - honeymoon on the Grandeur 6/98) and we have booked a Grand Suite.

I have found activities in Mazatlan (Randi's Happy Horses) and Puerta Vallarta (Dolphin Swim and Rhythms of the night) but I can't come up with anything for Cabo San Lucas. We like to snorkle and ride waverunners but have heard the the water is really cold, we like to see historic sights but heard there is really nothing to see, we also like to shop. We are not lay out on the beach kind of people (we are bad relaxers!)

We are in our early 30's (no kids)and would appreciate any suggestions!!!

Take a water taxi to El Medano Beach, just tell them you want to go to "the Office". You will find all the water activities there along with horseback riding. Jet Skir's are $45 for 1/2 an hour, Parasailing $30pp, Horseback riding $25-30pp, but I don't know how much the kayaks are. You can also catch the glass bottom boats (the water taxis) from there to go see the lands end, they are pretty cheap also.

We took our family of 6 on a glass bottom boat tour with a native businessman. When you get off the boat you will be bombarded with offers. Just make sure you have a price before you go. It was fun and they offered to take us to Lovers Beach or Divorce Beach, whatever you want. There is shopping close-by. My kids took a local bus down to a few resorts for $1.00. We went the first of June and there were Portuguese Man-O-War in the water. They were everywhere and the kids got stung, OUCH.
