South Palm Cruiser Posted April 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Did not seem to work with embedded photos - trying again with attachments- Have been following the Solstice online, from keel laying to current sailings. Finally sailed on March 29 - connnecting CC cabins, 1247 and 1249, deck 10, aft side of hump. Rather than get into subjective likes and dislikes, we are of the school that any day on a ship is better than a day at work - that said, the cruise was fine - give me a good book, a glass of wine and the privacy of a balcony and I'm good to go. There have been several threads about the layout of conecting cabins, quirks in the bathrooms , etc. A picture is worth 1000 words: Solstice at anchor in Labadee New pier for Oasis of the Seas under constuction in Labadee Corridor - really narrow - had to step aside more often than not Outer double door to connecting stateroom vestibule ( Only allowed 5 pics - part 2 to follow )
