Montreal port to bus station??

I plan on taking the Greyhound bus back to New Hamphire from Montreal and would like to know if the walk to the bus station is too far? I don't mind walking and don't plan on having a large suitcase. If walking would work out, how long would it take?

 

Is there a local bus that connets the two?

 

How much would the taxi cost?

It is a 1.9 km walk. Should take about 25 minutes at a brisk pace. Slightly uphill and sometimes over cobblestone streets.

 

The 515 bus in the direction of Metcalfe / Square Dorchester (East) would also cover this route. You could walk to the metro, but I really don't see the point, it's a 12 minute walk to travel 2 metro stations.

 

The taxi is probably the fastest way. I can't give you an exact amount, but being a 2 km drive. It's at least CAD$6.50 plus waiting time and luggage.

That's great info. I hope the weather is good since I'll probably walk. I'll have a lot of stored energy from all the meals on the trip.
