Is it warm enough for shorts in NS and PEI in the middle of June?

Recommended Posts

My trip is planned for June 13 and I wonder if it will be too chilly for shorts then? I'm from New Hampshire so I'm used to the cold!

The weather will most likely be fine for shorts.

IMHO, we can't tell right now. Yes, I would bring shorts but I would also bring long pants and decide in the morning what to wear AND it might likely be chilly in the morning and get hot around noon.

I'm always cold, so my choice would be long pants + t-shirt + sweater and/or light jacket but it really depends on your own comfort level.

The best of the best are those long pants that can be converted into shorts from a zipper above the knee.

I live in Halifax and I would say that could be warm enough for shorts around June 16th. It really depends where you are from and what you define as warm. My mother now lives in Florida and when she comes up in the summer she complains it is so cold.

Bring shorts just in case. Go up on deck and try and gauge how it feels to you.
