Roll Call: Serenade to Alaska, July 4, 2009

Hi all, this is my first cruise. I'll be traveling with my 16 year old son. I'm hoping to meet up with other gays and lesbians to hang out while my son is off with the other teens. Is there any specific places gays tend to hang at on this ship? I'm planning to self identify by having a gay badge of some kind on my camera bag so that hopefully people will approach me to chat. Any other suggestions that will make it easier to find others to hang out with?

Will I be the only gay on the ship?

I doubt that. When you get aboard, head down to customer relations desk (deck 5 in the centrium i think). There will be a board there and with any luck there will be a Friends of Dorthy meeting. I did not attend, so i have no idea what to expect, but its worth a shot!
