Port Canaveral Transportation & Hotel

We will be cruising to the Bahamas on July 5th (Carnival - Sensation). Can anyone give us suggestions for transportation from the Orlando airport on July 4th to Port Canaveral and a hotel for the one night? :confused:

Do a one way car rental from MCO to the port. Rental should be around $50. If you need promo codes, check out fatwallet.com (travel forum) or retailmenot.com.

 

If you are looking to save some money on your hotel, consider priceline bidding (won my room at the Hyatt Place Universal for $30). There is a "Sticky" in this fourm with priceline winning bids, however, if you've never bidded before PLEASE read biddingfortravel.com or betterbidding.com FIRST. These sites will explain to you how to bid, and they list winning bids as well.

 

If hotwire is your preference, then be sure to check out the betterbidding.com site. Otherwise, if you have AAA, costco, etc, consider using those discounts and book your room direct.

Thanks for the info..I'm researching this also..I'm finding a $25 dollar charge for drop off at a different location...we're picking up at Sanford/Orlando then drop off at port..

Best tiki bar ever. Call Falty Towers in Cocoa Beach. We stayed 4 nights before and after a cruise and had a great time. They offer packages that include transportation.
