kitty9 Posted April 17, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2009 First of all, cabin 6000 is on Deck 6, the Penthouse Deck, not deck 5. It's at the very front of the ship, and the major problem with that is if you're prone to seasickness. Those front cabins have the most movement in rough seas and you will really feel it even if the seas aren't that rough. And being so far in front means a lot of walking to get anywhere. So if you have any kind of health problems, you might want to get a cabin a little closer to mid ship.
txsloth Posted April 17, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2009 I think she's asking what all the white space on the deck plans means. That is service area and it is walled off.
lauralou2 Posted April 17, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Yes thanks that is just what I was asking my next question is what sort of service area and is it noisy I sleep like a log but i will be with an elderly relative who may spend more time in the cabin than i will thanks for any advice:)
kitty9 Posted April 17, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2009 It's areas where the crew stores things like their sheets, towels and the like. I've not noticed those crew areas to be especially noisy.
