Whiitier self serve laundry

Does anyone know if Whittier has a self serve laundry mat?

I use the one in Begich Towers, but I am pretty sure there are laundry facilities in the Harbormaster building as well.

Manzy154 - are you on a Princess cruise?

 

I know this answer is not a reply to your exact question... but if your on Princess, they have on-board laundromats that are great. There is one on just about every floor with passenger cabins. Last year I believe the cost was $1 per load in either the washer or dryer. They have heavy duty, large commercial machines that take quarters. They also sell soap, bleach, dryer sheets, etc. Ironing boards are also located in the laundry room. I've been on a number of cruise lines, and I wish they all did it like Princess. They are wonderful, convenient and inexpensive.

Looks like OP is on the Coral Princess in July. As hubble stated the laundries on the Coral are on several floors. Our family on our last Coral cruise found they were very accomodating. You may find them being used on your day in Whittier by the cruise tour passengers but they are open for your convenience at all hours.

We are on the Coral leaving July 20th after we have been land cruising for 10 days. I figured this was a good day to do the laundry before we start the second half of our trip. Thanks for all the help.
