Imatrex?

anyone ever see Imatrex in mexico, if so where and the cost. THANKS SOOO much.

Yes, on our last cruise I was getting migraines every day (I have cluster headaches, for a couple of weeks a year). I ran out of Imitrex and found it at a Pharmacia when we hit port. It goes by the generic name of Sumatriptan and I paid the AWESOME price of $11 US for 20 of them.

 

Even with insurance here in Texas they cost me over $70.

thank you SO much. My insurance just stopped paying for it, they switch me to something else (that does not work! it only makes me feel as I'm living life in slow mo) to by them around here $200+ for 9.

Can you tell me if a RX is needed to purchase? I have been told that you do not have to have one to buy but you do have to have one to bring it back with you.

 

Also, where is the pharmacy from the dock?

No rx needed. Sorry, don't recall where the store was, but it has been available in most of the pharmacias I've been in in Cozumel, so it's pretty readily available
