Delta $50 second bag charge for international flights

Is Hawaii considered an international flight?

 

I typically take one suitcase and a carryon. I have difficulty lifting above my head so I normally check the carryon. Just came back from a cruise and didn't realize Delta was charging 40.00, each way, to check 2 bags. :eek:

Get real -- the airlines don't even consider Canada an international destination (as far as luggage goes), so you really have your hopes up with Hawaii!!

Oh and what really bugs me about all this extra charging for luggage, is the people who "sneak" on large, stuffed bags as carry-on so they don't have to pay and then try and jam them into the overhead bins and under the seats....
