Cave tubing ? W/ rcc

we will be in Belize next week on Enchantment. We are doing the RCC cave tubing tour. I am thinking of wearing old running shoes, that I can just dump after the tour. What are your thoughts? Also, should I wear a pair of lightweight (running) shorts over my bathingsuit. and is there a place that we can lock up any valuables?

Lots of questions I know, but have never done anything like this before

Your old running shoes will be fine.

Running shorts - it's up to you. They have a place where you can change, so bring a set of dry clothes. You can leave them in the van or bus, which they lock up, with your valubles. Someone watched over our van - I left money, passport, etc. - no problems.
