kann52 Posted April 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2009 How long does it take to get from the port to Atlantis? Are there taxis waiting at the port and what is the cost from the port to Atlantis? Can you purchase advance day passes? Thanks!
scubagirrl Posted April 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2009 How long does it take to get from the port to Atlantis? Are there taxis waiting at the port and what is the cost from the port to Atlantis? Can you purchase advance day passes? Thanks! Most days it takes only 10-15 minutes once you get a cab (they are queued up in from of the port exit). Cab will cost $5pp with $1 toll for the car. No advance day passes - they are sold based on occupancy rates. If you want a guaranteed pass.. either purchase from the ship when available, or rent a room at the Atlantis or Comfort Suites (across the street with full access priveleges. ) Each room allows up to 4 passes - Room rate is for 2 ppl.. plus add'l charges for add'l ppl to a max of 4. Taxes and surcharges also prevail, so do a little research before making this decision.
kann52 Posted April 23, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted April 23, 2009 Thank you! I am so excited and can't wait. I just wanted a little info before we went. Less than a month away and I will be in paradise...woohoo!
Meg&Xansmom Posted April 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2009 if we book a room at the Comfort Suites across the street would that give us access to the aquarium as well? Or is "full access" just to the pool and slides? We're going in September.

I didn't see anyone going or returning in a private cab, so have no idea what that would cost if you could find one.
