Anyone traveling October 18th - Barcelona-Lisbon?

My Husband and I, along with 2 other couples just booked the October 18th sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon. Is anyone else sailing then?

 

This will be our 3rd SeaDream trip.

How far in advance do those of you who are frequent cruisers generally book your cruises? Just short of the final payment being due to catch discounted fares or well in advance to secure the date and stateroom of choice?

My husband and I just booked the Barcelona-Lisbon Cruise in Oct. We are really looking forward to it. It will also be our 3rd SD cruise. I'm now trying to work on air and hotels, etc. Want to use FF miles but they make it so difficult these days and it takes so many. We'll probably use points and stay in Hiltons or Marriotts for a couple of days going in and coming back.
