Getting From Airport to Cruise Port in Mobile

Will a regular taxi know what I'm asking for or should I bring the map from the CCL web site?

You can't there from the airport. Just kidding. They will know how to get there without a map. The cruise terminal is right on the river in the middle of downtown. What I'm having a hard time believing is that you actually were able to find a flight that flies into Mobile. I'm going to have to tell all my friends about this. I know they will think I'm lying or lost my mind. I think the airport slogan is "you can't get there from here". :D

Delta is the biggest airline flying into Mobile. Many flights go through Atlanta, so you may have to go east before you can go west or go north before you can go south, etc. But you can get here via air.

I'm on Northwest and as I said, going through Memphis.

 

I had no trouble with flights, was just wondering about the taxi ride.

 

I don't wanna pay CCL over $100 for the 2 of us on their shuttle when I can do it in a cab for probably less than half that.

Hey everyone! I'd love an update on the best way to get from the airport to the port area. Are most of you using the shuttle services or taxi. If you're using taxis...what is it costing?
