Amtrak from Seattle to Vancouver

Recommended Posts

Fosters is across the street and has great cold beer and seafood. You are actually right next to the ship when is docks and you will love the downtown area right where you are. You can just check in to the hotel and walk acrooss the street and you will find plenty of nice restaraunts and specialty shops, have fun.....

Article in Vancouver Paper yesterday reports;

2 nd train service will start Next month. (AUG 09) Border issues are solved in regards to who is paying for staff to check trains in and out and will start for a trial period including up to the Olympics in FEB 2010 and a further period after that. Although not written in stone the train will run basically the opposite of the one now. It will likley leave Vancouver too early for one to catch it from a morning arrival on a cruise ship however.
