Fitnessmaniac Posted April 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2009 I'm sorry I have not been on this board in a while..so..if this has been brought up recently..please forgive. I just booked Liberty of the Seas for Sept 26. I noticed AFTER I received my confirmation via email that there's a $140 fuel charge. Are they starting to charge for fuel again? Thanks for your replies.
lady_cruiser Posted April 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2009 We booked a cruise for Feb 2010 and there are no fuel charges, yet. You might want to call RCL and see what is going on then come back and let us know. By the way, welcome back.
rubyred416 Posted April 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2009 Q: What is your Fuel Supplement Policy?A: We have suspended our fuel supplement for Royal Caribbean International sailings that depart on or after January 1, 2009, anywhere in the world. For more information please click here. When you click, it basically states that they can increase it if the cost of a barrel of fuel exceeds $65. Currently, it is around $50. Hmmm...
