Can anyone tell me anything about the following hotel:

Comfort Inn & Suites @ Stewart Beach. It is not very expensive, so that kinda worries me, but I can't afford anything much more.

I have never stayed there. I can tell you it started out as a Holiday Inn Express and changed to the Comfort Inn. It is about 4 or 5 years old

We found the Hilton resort (at san luis resort area) on hotels.com for $72/night... hard to beat that for a 4 star hotel.

 

If you call the hotel directly, they will also give you the $99/night rate with no deposit or prepayment.

When is that for? They double or triple that price once June hits from what I've seen.

I was thinking about the Hilton for our late Nov cruise. Has anyone had any problems with leaving their car/truck at the hotel for the week, like being broke into or such.

There is a whole group of us staying at the Hilton in September. I have read good reviews about leaving your car there. If you have a group be sure and try and get a group rate.

The Quality Inn on the Seawall is nice and inexpensive. Plus they offer free cruise parking.

It got kinda trashy after Ike. A couple of years ago, it was a decent place to stay. Nowadays, I'm not so sure. You won't get killed or anything, so if you don't mind subpar service and hearing people run around at all hours, go ahead and book it as a place to stay for a night. If those things are important to you, keep looking.
