Do you think this means that they are going to cancel the sailings to Mexico through the end of the month? Or could it be they have just "conditionally" scheduled the port just in case things don't improve in Mexico?

One of my friends is sailing on RCL in two weeks and was already told they will not be stopping in Mexico. Since it's a 7 day cruise....they will just get an extra day at sea.

Carnival Fantasy's May 2 and May 11 departures from New Orleans (originally five-day cruises) have been converted into seven-day cruises departing on May 2 and May 9. The cruises will call on Key West, Freeport and Nassau in lieu of Progreso and Cozumel. That ship's May 7 departure, a four-day cruise from New Orleans, has been canceled.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that they will do alternate ports through the end of May. I'm thinking June would be the soonest they return to MX.
