What are the odds of picking up a Broncos game on the Pearl sailing from Seattle? My husband is a die hard Bronco's' fan and would hate to miss a game.

I didn't look but if it's not in ESPN, I would suggest you're probably SOL. One thought, why would you waste a cruise on watching the Broncos - especially this year ;) ?

As a die hard Bronco fan this made me laugh!! Unfortunately, this season will probably be a good one to miss a few games. :D

 

OP-You'll have to Tivo it and watch it when you get home.

We are hoping Knowshon Moreno will help out. He is from UGA where our son goes to school. So we have enjoyed watching him play over the past couple of years. I guess my husband can tivo. He will survive. :)

I don't know but there may be a sports bar on board. Talk to whoever is responsible for selecting what games are available to be shown. But I agree with the rest of the posters--tell him to forget about it for a week. We happened to cruise during the Super Bowl one year. They had a big party with all kinds of activities surrounding it.

 

First let me tell you that I am a huge sports fan and a guy. But I decided that I would rather enjoy the cruise (even though my wife told me that she had no problem with me going to watch it). I skipped the game I did not feel like I missed a thing. By the way that is the only super bowl that I have ever missed. I have seen all of them starting with Super Bowl I.

Speaking of missing a few games, you ought to be a Chief's fan (which have been far worse than the Broncos) living in Broncoland.

If its not on ESPN forget about seeing the game on the cabin television. While a game maybe on the bar television, you will have to fight everyone else for which game to watch. Expecting everyone wishing to watch a Bronco game is not being realistic.

When my gf and I sailed the Gem outta NY in Dec. 2009 there were two games in ESPN international on Sunday, 1 CBS feed and a FOX feed game after it. Monday night ESPN had the regular ESPN MNF. I'm a Jet fan and shes a Giant fan and both Sunday games on ESPN international were out of NY market games. I think its luck as to what games ESPN international plays on Sunday. ESPN international seemed to play ALOT of soccer the rest of the week. We brought a SIRIUS radio and were able to listen to both NY games on it luckily and had great music in our room the whole trip except for a short time heading north from the Bahamas ( a few hours with no signal max). Hope this helps.
