camera/safety

If you are worried about theft I would say you are as safe as you would be at home. I would use the same precautions and not leave it laying out in clear view unattended. Actually, I felt safer in the Cayman's then I do at home! We took hundreds of pictures the week we were there. It is a beautiful island!

I hope this helps!

Enjoy!

I never gave safty a thought with my camera. I am carefull not to leave it lying arround because I might walk off without it. I would not leave it on my chair at the pool and go swiming etc. I would not do that at home. No problem leaving in your cabin.

Just have plenty of memory sticks.

Theft is no more of a concern than it would be back in the States. You are much more likely to leave it in a cab or something similar.

As a word of advice, get a bold magic marker and then write out your name, address, phone and any other contact details on a piece of paper. Then take a picture of it. If you lose your camera an honest person could track you down by finding that picture.
