vettecruiser1 Posted May 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2009 I thought today was the day they were going to announce Seasonal Cruises, which I hoped would include what is coming to Galveston.
Elizanessie Posted May 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2009 Voyager of the Seas is returning to Galveston in late Nov 2010 and will alternate two 7 night Western Caribbean routes. For 2011 departures, instead of calling at Montego Bay she will call at Falmouth. Thats the only bit of info I have seen mentioned at the moment. forecruiser Posted May 7, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2009 Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears the Voyager will be here sooner for 7 day cruises in the 2010/2011 season as the first 7 night from Galveston leaves on 11/21/10. It also appears it will be here longer as the last 7 day round trip shown is 4/24/11. It just may be that they are not showing any others past that date just yet. Maybe, just maybe, Galveston will see another ship here year round in the future. One can only hope!
sajeffc Posted May 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2009 We hope that a ship returns to Galveston year round. We loved cruisng on Rhapsody. We are on AOS week of July 19 and really looking forward to it, but would love not to drop the extra $2k in airfare and hotels. I can't believe that RCI wasn't making enough money over the summer on Rhapsody.
julesbeara Posted May 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2009 I wish we could have a ship year round of Galveston. I agree with not wanting to spend the extra $$$$'s on airfare.
