Buddy01 Posted May 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2009 My DH and I have never been on the HAL Statendam and we upgraded to a verandah cabin, B148. Do you think this is a good choice? We know it is on the port side, midship since the starboard was already all booked. This is a northbound cruise (Glacier Discovery). Any replies would be appreciated, especially if you have been inn this cabin yourself. Thanks so very much! Lynne:o

vinman7 Posted June 21, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2009 Hello Buddy01, we did the 35 day Hawaii/Tahiti cruise on the Statendam in Sept/Oct 2008. We had cabin B149 on deck 9 and loved it. Our cabin was on the opposite side to yours but the cabins are identical. You will love it if you haven't already cruised and if you have you'll know what I am talking about. Enjoy Vince
