STAM Posted May 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2009 My daughter and I would like to go parasailing in July. Has anyone been that can make recommendations?

TravelinTchr Posted May 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2009 My DH and I actually parasailled with Skyrider when we were there two years ago. They were wonderful folks, and gave us a great time! Even though they are based in Hamilton, we actually met them at the Dockyard for our little excursion. Enjoy! :D Melinda
TravelinTchr Posted May 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2009 BTW, I noticed you all are headed out on the 3rd. We'll be right behind you, heading to Bermuda on NCL Majesty on the 5th. Bon voyage! :D

PEFER33 Posted May 15, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2009 We went a few years back now. Used the outfit at the Dockyard. They used a chair that two could ride in at the same time. The family had a ball, even my wife who was very weary of the whole thing. She doesn't like being in (or over) the water. The crew was very good, taking care of her concerns, and she stayed dry. Enjoy your cruise. - Phil

PEFER33 Posted May 20, 2009 #8 Share Posted May 20, 2009 travelerblue, we discovered it the day we were there. Asked a few questions and got in the boat. That said, there was only one ship at the dockyard that day and that was in the "olden" days when only the smaller ships were allowed into Bermuda ports. With the bigger ships now docking at King's Wharf, and many more passengers, you might want to think about pre-booking. If you decide to do it, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. - Phil
travelerblue Posted May 20, 2009 #9 Share Posted May 20, 2009 PERFER33 - Thanks for the information. I think that I will pre-book so we don't miss out. It sounds like a lot of fun!

Thanks again!
PEFER33 Posted May 21, 2009 #11 Share Posted May 21, 2009 Yes you can walk. It is right by the entrance to the Dockyard, near the Clocktower Mall. Do you have this site? http://www.experiencebermuda.com/dockyard/dest-dockyard.html - Phil
