CruisinJazz Posted May 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2009 Has anyone booked the Turtle & Shipwreck tour through West Water Adventures??? I would love to hear feedback!
geologygeek Posted May 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2009 We didn't book - we just showed up at Folkestone. We just got the public bus there - under US$1.50 each. It was okay, but they just take you back down the coast to Paynes Bay - where everyone else is. If you haven't snorkelled with turtles before you'll love it, if you have (like us) you'll find it so, so and to be honest I wasn't happy with the "human created" zoo like atmosphere where they feed wild animals. JMO. The ship wreck was a waste of time and the guide just kept on crapping on all the time.
boowaaccaa Posted June 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2009 If you book the excursion you get transport and snorkling gear etc.....right? If you just hop off a public bus is the turtle area free? Or is there a gate with an entrance fee etc. ? If so, how much?
