Good Morning everyone! Super busy at work this week! We are in the middle of a heat wave. Bad thing is the humidy is so high....almost broke 100 yesterday! supposed to be another hot one today.

Morning. Its been so super busy here. I was finally off yesterday and my daughter and grandkids came over so it was a fun day. Last night I just played WOW on the computer. I hate the kids and Dan got me hooked on that game!

 

Annette, we are planning on flying in Monday morning. The flight I am looking at gets in Seattle at 10:45am. I have my room already booked where i believe some of you are at. We are booked at the Quality inn.

 

Its been super hot here to! They said yesterday we broke 100. Today looks the same. Its been a mild summer until now. Its been in the low 90's.

I guess we need to find out how many are actually at the Quality Inn Suites on John St, and try to arrange a get together on Monday night!

 

WHAT is WOW? I am playing the Mafia game of FB!

My 100 pound daughter was looing at the menu's today...... she is excited about the food!

Sorry, I don't think there is a way, but if there were it would be in your home area. So, is she going to join us?

I checked that and it didn't work, about the only think you can do is ask a hot and give them the number of the paost which is listed on the top and see if they would delete it. The number is on the upper right hand side. But, they are the ones with the power and don't know if they would do it or not. Do you think they are going to rad all the posts?

Haven't been on the boards too much the last couple days. We been having problems with our computer. Not too serious, but can't seem to get connected to the internet. Finally figured out why.....DS keeps taking the modem to his room for his laptop!!!!:eek::eek:;);) When he finally "let's" me use his laptop, he hovers and asked how much longer I'll be!! Gotta love him!!

 

Dana - Check with the board moderators. I asked them to remove a thread I had started a few months ago. It took a few days, then it was removed. Not sure about individual posts though. When you go over to the cruise critic home page, you'll find some posting FAQ's. You might find you're answer there. Hopefully, your friend won't take the time to read through all the posts.

Yeah!! :D:D I don't have too much planned for the next couple days...a little more shopping with DS, going to the movies tomorrow, a dentist appt next week and giving my dog a bath before she goes to a friends for a sleep over while we drive up to Tallahassee.

WOW, Everyone has vacation but ME! Chicago, New York, Tallahassee....I am just here. But, I do have a two year old pool party this afternoon. It has been a long summer, hope everyone has a wonderful time!

I just got a flight change notice form Delta, this is 4th one since I booked. Times and everything are the same but they just keeping changing flight numbers. I guess it is good that Expedia keeps me informed! I checked with my daughter and she wants to keep the anytime dining. That way we can go early or late whtever we find works for that day. I heard from one of tour specialist that I wrote and he may be able to work out a special tour that will include the train and whale/nature watching both. I saw one he did that include three things but I didn't want all three so I e-amiled him.

I'm back from Chi-Town, and it was wonderful, but exhausting! Oh the blisters on my tootsies... I guess it's good practice for me to get in shape before the cruise... I had something wonderful happen, so I had to share!!! I flew Northwest/Delta to Chicago, and on the return flight they had too many people booked on the same flight so they asked for volunteers to go on a later flight. We volunteered to wait at the airport the extra 4 hours, and they gave us each $300.00 voucher for another plane ticket!!! That is going to pay for our flight to Seattle!!! I am so stoked!

Your solution: you don't have to drag your photo printer with you. On the Legend I used the photo services on board, and they are as cost effective as your local Wal-greens photo processing. (between 13 - 17 cents per digital print).

The question: Everyone has told me to ask the moderator about deleting some of my posts. How do I reach the moderator? Do you know who he/she is? I have searched the faq's and came up with nothing... my best plan is to report my own posts for innappropriate-ness to catch up with the mod. Perhaps you know of a better way?

Just back from NYC, wow it was hot!!!!! Very crowded there this week. Well alot more crowded then when I was there last summer. Seen many different parts of NYC this time, did the bus tours this time and they are awesome....very nervious going over the Brooklyn Bridge on a double decker bus...DH kept laughing at me as I was trying to lean my body enough to make the bus move into a middle lane:eek:

Ahh Kim, Thanks for checking in! I'm glad you had so much fun! Did you take lots of photos?

In Chicago, we had a marvelous time, even though I packed it as full as I possibly could! I used that popular name your own price and got a fantastic deal on a hotel right on the river. We checked in early enough and got a room with an awesome view. We could see the river, the city, and the lake. On our last day we watched the Navy Pier fireworks from our hotel room window. We also did the history, and the science museums, took many cabs, ate deep dish pizza, threw napkins at strangers at Dick's, and walked Michigan Avenue many times. I had a great time, but I'm happy to be in my recliner playing on my computer.

I don't think you want to report as innappropriate, they could ban you from CC. Congrats on the ticket voucher!

 

Look at the bottom of this page for the moderator names and send them an e-mail before you report and create a mess.

Actually we didn't take alot of photos as we where just there last August but did get the Nakid Cowboy this time...unfortinatley we where on the tour bus so no chance to get a photo with him.

 

Glad to hear you had a great time as well. New focus for me is Goofy Marathon in January, but no planning required for that, just lots of training so will be checking in here more and more. Hope you all don't get sick of my chatter:D

Kim, we would love to hear from you. I am sure we will all be chatting more as it gets closer. Hopefully, the ones out there we havn't heard from in awhile will pop back in. I got two booklets on Seattle but have been so busy I havn't had a chamce to even look at them!

 

Dana, let me know what you find out, I have never used them--but have read where they have helped others. As a second thought the more we write, the more there will be to read and less chance of anybody reading everything posted.
