They were so amazing! I could not believe the sheer beauty and power!

 

I just checked out the cabins left and all the 4b's are gone. And the rates are at least $200 more than out group room rate. So anyone with the group may get free upgrade on their cabin. I have an e-mail (Johna) to see what this means for the group! Looks like the ship will fill up well before cruise time!

Dana Ron and Maureen are in my group as well:D This is part of my DH's family parents, brother, sister and spouses. One of this brothers unfortunatley can't make it as they have younger kids and for 4 people would cost a fortune.

 

Annette, I love Maid of the Mist, we do it whenever we go there. I had some friends up from Kentucky and Maine in May and we went to Niagara Falls, it was fun to see it through new eyes.

Good morning. Chill, but nice morning. Its a cool 64 degrees! I decided to open the windows and let fresh air in. Ozzy (our car) is jumping from window to window LOL I don't let him outside so hes going crazy.

 

I checked flights this morning. Its still holding at 207.00 PP from Greensboro! Its really a great price considering its all the way cross the country. I have wished my summer away to get to fall, a step closer to May :D

I have to call another couple that is going and see where and when they want me to book them out of (plane). They have never cruised before, so I have to kind ot take care of everything for them. Nice lady traveling with her friend, hubby won't go. I have to get Kathi their names too. I don't know if they are doing Greensboro or Roanoke. If it is Greensboro, I may ask you to watch out for them. I will probably see if they want the same hotel we are in.

Wow, You are a big family. I come from a very little family.

 

The friends that we know that are coming are Karen and Susan. She is supposed to let me know tonight what day they want to fly, and where out of. This will be both of them's first cruise and maybe first flight - have to find out on that one.

 

My daughter also has a frined tying to book, her name is Becky; not sure what her husbands name it. She is waiting to connect with Johna.

Oh no that is Mike's family there are 4 kids all together and I thinik that is a small family.

 

I have 5 sisters and 1 brother....lost count on the nieces, newphews, down to great, great nieces and newphews. My sisters and brother are all alot older then me...lol

GOOD MORNING ALL<

 

I can't believe I woke up so late! I am still tired...but, it may be the seasons starting to change early. Or it might be that I am walking about a mile on the "non going anywhere glider" before bed. Have to be able to walk the trails on this cruise and losing weight would probably not be a bad thing either... Also have to do our Group "Walk for the Cure" on the ship! Then we can all go party!

 

Gotta run...Going to be late for work!

Annette, good for you. DH and I started walking our subdivision....small loop about 3K....sorry not sure what that is in miles maybe just under 2 miles and it was hard......now we are training to do the goofy marathon in January which total over 2 days is 39.3 miles so WTG for you!!!!!!

 

I have weight to lose as well. I am working on it slowly but believe it or not with my training I am hungrier...so although I am getting stronger and inches are moving the weight is not, but that is OK as long as I look and feel healthy......not skinny I am good with that.

 

Can we cruise now!!!!!

 

Hey only a few more Alaskan cruises out this season......then next Alaskan cruise season we are first ones out!!!!!

:D that's funny Annette, definatley your 1 mile counts, sorry I didn't mean to make it seem like it. What I was trying to show was that is where we started and now we just love it. Every since mile you do gets you closer to a healthier you!!!!!!

Kim, I think it is so GREAT that you can walk that far and for such a good cause. My ex SIL is in training for a Walk for Leukemia which is what my MIL died of. I think anything that makes us take care fo ourselves is good, I am not the best in that department. Too many pounds and too little exercise. But, I am going to do that walk on the cruise! It just amazes me that people can walk such long distances. So I will start with a mile a day and work my way up. Maybe by the cruise I will be up to a lot more miles! :cool:

Jennie glad to see you pop back in! WOW a Halloween Cruise, that sounds like a spookly good time! LOL! Be sure and send us left back here just dreaming lots of pictures. I hate to see summer end but am glad we are closer to cruise time!
