Portunus Points

Single Cruiser

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've a quick question on the P&O loyalty scheme.

I've been told that if I cruise on P&O I will be back-dated with half points for my previous cruises on Ocean Village:

For each night spent on board one of

the P&O Cruises ships 10 points

For each night spent on any Swan

Hellenic holiday before 7 April 2007,

or any Ocean Village or Princess

Cruises ship 5 points

I've spent 65 nights onboard OV ships so that I would start on 325 points plus 140 for a 2-week P&O cruise = 465, I think the first threshold is 500 points?

Is it worth it or just a gimmick?

Might persuade me versus NCL.

when you hit 501 points you will be Sapphire and get 7.5% off every onboard spend including drinks and tours..plus a Sapphire party...and a gift we had binoculars and a silver compact mirror.

If you did a pando cruise, AFTER that cruise, with your accumilated OV points and the cruise points from pando, you would stay in Ruby which is 5% discount off ob spend until you went over 501 points.

Hi Craig..following up what we discussed on OV2?

Yep, and if I can get another 2-week or that 23-day Crete-Singapore in on OV before then after my first P&O on the by-then informal Ventura ;):D will take me over the 501.

Just need my electric shock treatment in 5-weeks time first!
