Snorkeling recommendations

I'm on the same cruise and posted the same question a little below. Got a few replies but nobody who really said where the best ports to snorkel are. But from what I can gather St Thomas is probably the best place to snorkel. St Kitts probably the least (but still good -- hard to go wrong snorkeling in the Southern Carribean). Dominica and St. Lucia are solid, I believe. One of them -- forget which one -- has Champagne Reef where bubbles come up from the sea bed. Sounds cool. My problem with snorkeling in those two ports is that many of the attractions they have are on land (rain forests, voclano, etc). I'd rather snorkel someplace where I wouldn't be missing those things.

That's my two cents. Hopefully someone else can shed some light on this question!
