Robin G Posted December 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2004 My family and I will be in Barbados in February. Our plan is to rent a Jeep, travel to the Wildlife Reserve, Flower Forest and Harrisons Cave in the morning and get to the Boatyard late morning and spend the rest of the day. I'm just not sure how much time to allow for these places. Are we trying to do too much in too little time? Thanks.

Dock to Harrison's (go there first!) is 30 minutes. Tour is about one hour. 10 minutes from Harrison's to Flower Forest. Tour about one hour. 15 minutes from Flower Forest to the Wildlife reserve. Allow at least one hour for the tour (maybe stop for lunch if it's much before 2 or 3pm as the Monkies are late sleepers). About 45 minutes back to the Boatyard going west to Speighstown, then south to the Boatyard. That's about 5 hours total. Perhaps you should budget an hour for lunch and getting lost, so safely figure six hours. I hope that works for you and you have a wonderful time on the island! :)
