2CruiseNow Posted May 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2009 We are staying an extra day in Barcelona after our cruise. Once we disembark the ship we plan on taking a taxi straight to the hotel to drop off our luggage and then on to Camp Nou for a tour of the stadium. (our son is a HUGE soccer fan!!!). After the tour I think it will be about time for lunch. Are there any restaurants around Camp Nou for lunch? It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Or should we head to Las Rambas to eat? Thanks! Carolyn R Posted May 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2009 How are you getting to the stadium? It is on the hop-on hop-off red route I think. I would just hop back on and hop off at Placa Catalunya. Going away from the Placa and the Ramblas there are quite a few good tapa restaurants, one being Tapas Tapas. They even have a mini-size paella! Outside seating too with live music when I was there. Rare nellydean Posted May 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2009 No need to come away from the stadium, there's an outdoor eating area which gets quite busy but does great fish and chips among other things if you are hungry and not too fussed - after the fun of the stadium tour and the shops (bring plenty of euros!) you'll be happy to spend some more time enjoying the atmosphere outside :) your son can have a look at their official website http://www.fcbarcelona.com/web/english/index.html
