Denali Pedestrian Path along Nenana Canyon

When we get back from the Denali shuttle it will be after the last Princess shuttle back to the Lodge. We plan to walk back to the Lodge. I have seen a map indicating there is a pedestrian path that runs alongside the road. Is this path well defined? Any information on the path would be great. Thanks.

It's a very nice, wide, paved path well separated from the highway in most places.
