Camp Carnival, Spirit to Alaska

I have a couple of questions. Our group is sailing on the Spirit to Alaska 6/10/09 with my 10 yo DD and our friends' DS who just turned 12.

1. Is anyone familiar with the range of activities and how many children we can expect on this cruise? I know a lot of schools are out, and I hear conflicting info on the range of kids on the Alaska cruises.

2. Any chance they'd be allowed to stay together? I'm prepared for both scenarios.

3. How badly does late dining interfere with CC activities? Early dining is too early for our itineraries, and I'm afraid with a group of 8 we'll be stuck waiting with anytime dining.

Your input will be greatly appreciated. I've got 22 days to go!

1. We were there in Mid June in 2008 and 2004. There were about 300 kids

on the ship.

2. They are very strict about the ages. One age group will fall in the 9 - 11. Then the other will be in the Circle "c" ages 12 - 14.

3. The dinner time should not effect the activities. There is so many activies

to pick from. They will go until 10PM each night. After 10pm you can put

the 10 year old in 'baby sitting'. But mine would not stand for that one at

all. The kids can choose to eat with camp up on the lido deck.
