Two Families w/children what to do??

I posted this in Costa Rica however, our cruise stops in here also.

 

We have two families with 3 children under 8 and are looking for a family friendly excursion. Any close, safe beaches worth going to?? A tour of the canal would be great. Looking for options that don't take all day.

We used mario and had a great time. Went to the locks for a short time and to a nice beach. They gave us free beverages too. Never felt unsafe and was back to the ship in plenty of time. You can also add snorkeling or the forts on.

Mario is the way to go in Panama ..they will do what you want and you will have a safe fun time.... I would go to the Gatun locks and to the Indian village.
