Hand dryers in the ship's public restrooms

OMG! That was hysterical! In the Ladies room on the Glory, the waste baskets under the dryers had lids...now I know why! :D

For those with little ones, how did the toilet flush go over? My youngest (5) thought it quite hilarious but the sound terrified my middle daughter (7). She'd run to our cabin (connecting) and wait there while we flushed for her.

 

The toilet flush didn't bother my 3-year-old. It was just the dryer that scared the bejeezus out of her! Once, as we were washing her hands, she pointed to the dryer and said "Mama, I don't like that!" I assured her we wouldn't use the hand dryer. Right then, another lady came out of a stall, washed her hands, and started up the dryer. After seeing my little girl's terror, the lady quickly pulled her hands away and said "Whoops! Sorry! I just heard her say she didn't like that, too!" and she left the restroom with wet hands.

I was on the Glory last week also. LOVE those hand dryers. They are the only ones that actually work!:)

I love them. They actually dry my hands. Some dryers take FOREVER.

 

I tried talking my sister to stick her face under there while I recorded it. Sadly, she refused. I can't imagine why ...

The hand dryers are loud, but effective. The way it moves the skin on hands - I was thinking of buying one to see if it would reduce my cellulite - lol!

I'd love to buy one just to mount to the back of my car so that I can reach Ludicrous speed! LOL!
