MidlothianCruiser Posted May 22, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2009 Thanks you. Is this far from port ? Taxi/walk It's on the other side of the Island...you wouldn't want to walk it. The beach is the one Carnival excursion we did last cruise. Here is the Carnival link...Stunning Beach! http://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcursionDetails.aspx?region=&portcode=RTN&excursionname=Tabyana+Beach+Day&excursioncode=518012

JustaCoupleCruisers Posted June 1, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2009 I'm so glad I found this thread....my husband and I both have been wondering about this kind of thing and we were planning on taking the excursion from the ship to Tabyana...I assume they have a couples massage? Thanks!
addicted to cruising Posted June 1, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 1, 2009 This is a fantastic place to get info...can be overwhelming sometimes but tons of info. Roatan is a small island, natives are wonderful, easy to get around. There is nothing at the port (at least 2yrs ago) so you want to have a plan. This a a great beach port. kinda you own special private paradise Belize again has a very small area where the tender boats come in so you want to have an excursion planned there as well. Its the jungle so make sure you capitalize on that. You will not cave tube anywhere else. A canopy tour would be appropriate here. The baboon sanctuary. These are things you wont see elsewhere. I will assume your other ports are Cozumel or Grand Caymen. Those are ship friendly with plenty to do within walking distance or quick cab ride. In GC you tender right at seven mile beach
JustaCoupleCruisers Posted June 1, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 1, 2009 Thank you! We have considered Cave Tubing but I've read alot about the water being low and making it difficult to enjoy at times. It sounds wonderful though!
