primrosegypsy Posted May 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2009 Just wondering - does anyone know if the price of the General Admission ticket on Grouse Mountain includes the skyride ticket or do you have to pay for each one? I have found this forum so helpful before. Regards,

Regards, The general admission includes entrance to the skyride, the films, lumberjack show, bird show, guided hikes and any independent hiking trails, the wildlife refuge. The things that cost extra are the zipline, paragliding, helijet, and of course any food and drinks.
cantw8togo Posted May 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2009 The general admission for adults is $38 cdn. Here is link to their website. http://www.grousemountain.com/Summer/summer-activities/ Your addmission is included if you make reservations to eat at the nicer restaurant. If you are going only for the scenery, then wait until the skies are clear. If you are interested in all of the other attractions, then going up anytime would be fine. Have fun in Vancouver. N. Putterdude Posted May 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2009 I concur, having lived just below the Skyride for most of my life, there is very little point in going up if you can't see the top of it before you head up.:)

I have a few days there in July so hopefully one of them will be crystal clear. Regards,

Mingus Posted May 25, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2009 If you're up to it (no pun intended).....the Grouse Grind is now open. It's a moderate/difficult trail that follows underneath the Skyride to the chalet. The trail is free and you can still participate in any of the included activities. You can then hike back down (harder than going up) or ride down for only $5.
Stuart Suss Posted May 30, 2009 #8 Share Posted May 30, 2009 The tourist office downtown, at 200 Burrard, offers approximately 5% discounts on Grouse Mountain skyride tickets and on admission prices at most other tourist sites. Their staff was also exceptionally courteous and helpful.
