Princendam - free in the Java Coffee Bar?

Does anyone know if the Java Coffee Bar is free on the Princendam? I am making my first cruise on the Princendam in 12 days and have heard that in the past there was no charge for specialty coffees. That would be great since my cabin is only a short distance from the Java Cafe. :D:D:D

That was one of the wonderful areas on board the Prinsendam. We used to go there regularly each morning around 11am and have a coffee. I thought that would have been changed in the years since we were last on her - 2004!

 

Oh well, we did enjoy the coffee when we were on the Veendam a couple of years ago, even though we had to pay and it looks as though we will be doing the same in November.

The self service laundry is still free.

I didn't realize that the Self Service laundry is gratis. It must be the only ship that cruises where laundry is free! That is a real bonus. Thanks for the information.

While the Java Bar [between the casino and Explorer's Lounge] no longer offers free specialty coffee drinks, they do have the best cinnamon buns on the ship. These are not the same ones served in the dining room or Lido and are only available early in the morning, so get there fast.
