we are doing capri on our own. from another post i found that the ticket center for the ferry ships to capri is steps from the pier where we dock in sorrento. please sign up for the meet and mingle, we need 10 additional people.

We are on Quest now and used Fabrizio of La Dolce Vita tours (see my "live from" thread). A van holding 8 (6 is more comfortable) cost 560 Euros (total, split 8 ways), and lunch was another 60 Euros each (it was a feast with plenty of wine and limoncello). To me, that was far better than anything Azamara offered - their "exclusive Amalfi" van was $345 per person (including lunch, but still). The larger tours are less expensive, but IMHO you don't get to see as much and you're sharing the experience with 40-50 other people.
