Alaska shore excursions advice

We are first time HAL cruisers sailing on the Volendam in late August. The ports we will visit are Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan and after reading the numerous shore excursion selections we are overwhelmed with the choices. We are interested in light to moderate physical activity. Any comments/suggestions from those veteran cruisers?
