Pool Questions - Sorry if Already Covered

Just wondering the following about the on-board, non-adult pools:

 

Salt or chlorinated?

 

Are "noodles" or other similar devices allowed?

The pools on DCL are fresh water (Whoop Whoop)..... That is a huge plus.... The only problem is the pools on DCL suck. The Mickey pool is just a splash pool only about 2feet deep and the Goofy pool is a small hole in the deck. It is about 4 feet deep and not very big. There really is not much room for swimming. The kids just kind of stand and bob up and down. They really SUCK..... This is what we are in hope changes on the new ships. So no noodles provided, because there are no room or need for them.:(

No problem. There are floats available on Castaway for the beach. :D
