GTY more expensive than 6A...what gives?

I noticed that it is cheaper to book a 6A, 6B, or 6C OV on the Dream than it is to book an OV GTY. Same for IS and BAL on the Dream - a 4A, 4B, or 4C is cheaper than an IS GTY, and a 7A, 8A, 8B, or 8C is less than a BAL GTY.

Is this a new thing for Carnival, or is it just a new thing for the Dream? In the past (including my cruise on the Glory 2 weeks ago), it was always cheaper for me to book a guarantee than to select a room. Now it seems the opposite is true.
