Glacier Bay balcony viewing

Does anyone know if when cruising from Skagway to Glacier Bay how much will be viewable from both sides? I'm trying to plan when to have breakfast on the balcony (with lots of coats on!) and would love to be able to see some of Glacier Bay as we seem to be 'scenic cruising' from 6:00 until 15:00 but if all the views are on the other side it would be a bit silly!
