Carnival Dream

Carnival is coming out with a new cabin category - Cove Balcony. Any thoughts? Are they the same size as regular balconies? Any advantages/disadvantages to being so close to the water?

You should ask this question on the Carnival boards, it's probably already being discussed over there.

In order to be able to visualize these cove balconies you need to try and find some pictures on the internet because they are not as open as a regular balcony and not as big as one either. Because they are so near the water if the waves get rough they will come in and close your partition so you will no longer have a balcony until the seas settle down.

Some people will love this concept, but for me personally I would rather stick with a regular balcony
